Know About Carbon Peel and Its Process

The carbon peel is also known as a Laser facial, a Photo facial, or a China doll facial as it is supposed to reveal flawless skin. Does it give you flawless skin?

What happens in this procedure is carbon cream is applied on the skin which absorbs all the dirt, sebum from the pores and attaches to the dead skin cells. The laser beam generated heats up the carbon particles in the first stage and blasts them away. When it’s removing the carbon particles, the dead cells, debris, and sebum get removed as well. The heat from the laser also rejuvenates and stimulates collagen synthesis underneath in the skin layers.

This laser facial is most suitable for those suffering from oily skin, acne, congested skin, open pores, blackheads but is even done to promote brighter skin, dewy skin and as a pre event facial since it doesn’t have any downtime.

Preparation:

Avoid sun exposure and if you are exposed or tanned its better to wait for a couple of weeks

Stop all retinol creams 3 days before procedure.

Stop skin care that contains alpha hydroxy acids like glycolic or lactic acid at least 3 days before

Post care:

Avoid applying makeup for 24 hrs.

Avoid sun exposure and use broad spectrum sunscreen with SPF 50

Restart regular skin care 2-3 days after
