Beauty: Importance of a night skin regimen for healthy skin. Dermatologists and beauticians explain how.

Requirements:

  • What is the most important thing to follow to before sleeping to have healthy skin?

It is important to cleanse skin thoroughly to get rid of the dirt, grime, sweat and makeup that has accumulated throughout the day and to prepare your skin for the other steps. Use a separate makeup remover or cotton dipped in oil to remove eye makeup. After this step you can wash your face with a cleanser

After removing makeup and cleansing skin, you can use a serum to nourish your facial skin. This serum can be chosen depending on what your skin concern is. You may want to use a moisturiser on top to seal in the serum. Choose a moisturizer that has healing properties for your skin so your skin can recover, nourish and replenish itself during the night.

Use a facial scrub once or twice a week to exfoliate and rejuvenate your skin.

You may want to mourish your hair and scalp also with serums before going to bed esp if your have dry hair , split ends or curly frizzy hair
