Thread Lift Treatment
It is non-surgical procedure that lifts the sagging, aging skin and stimulates collagen production to give the face or neck a more youthful appearance. Plastic surgeons and dermatologists place a medical-grade thread under the skin to pull the skin pull the skin into position. Thread lift is done using a thin needle called Cannula, to insert various threads under the skin. The procedure takes about an hour.
General Post op instructions
The patient may experience some bruising and swelling around the area. The doctor will give instructions on how to take care for the treated area such as:
- Applying cold compresses or ice pack.
- Avoid washing the face for 24 hours.
- Don't use makeup for several days.
- Don't use face moisturiser for a few weeks.
- Sleep in a propped-up position.
- Take an antibiotic to prevent infection.
